Big Snow 2011 !!!!!

Mom I have snot on my nose...LOL..

Well today is day 2 of pretty much being snowed in the house... In total we have about foot of snow on the ground, but the wind is pretty wild so we have snow drifts that are a couple of feet in some places... Oh and on top and underneath all that snow we have a nice layer of ice...YUCK !!!! It is really taking it's toll on the boys ...I have been vary relaxed on my viedo game policy they have played more yesterday and today than I think they get to in a whole month...Poor Alexa has not been feeling well..She started with a barky cough a few days ago and yesterday she started running a low fever...Today she is still running a low temp and still have the barky cough..She is eating okay and not throwing up so I haven't called the dr..I figure it is just a virus that will run it's course..That is about all that is going on here in the Dupler house...Once I figure out how to upload pics I will take some of the snow and put them up ....Take care !!!!

A lot going on !!!

The past few weeks has brought a lot going on in our house...I went back to work part-time during the day which is really nice...It doesn't interfer with our family time at all.. I think the only thing I don't like about it is Alexa is in daycare now for 4hrs everyday, but it is where I work so I can go and visit her whenever I want..I am now working in the fitness room as a fit trainer for the Y. So along with teaching my classes I know get to help out in the fitroom...It is pretty exciting and it helps to keep me on track and motovated a bit..

The boys had there concecration ceremony this past Friday night at Temple..This was very exciting for our family since it is the first real offical thing we have done since becoming Jewish.. We also nailed down a date to finish our conversion this past Sunday as well .It will be offically completed in May all though this is just a formallity since we have been living as Jewish people for 3yrs now.. But it is nice to have everything offical and I am very excited for May to come...Our Rabbi that started our conversion will actually be there to see the whole thing come full circle ..And the Rabbi that we have this year is soooo amazing in working with our family...

Things are going great with my mom after her having open heart surgery which included a triple bypass and the repair of an aneurysm.. She still has to have one more really risky surgery in a few months to repair the other two aneurysm that she still has on her aortia.. I have faith in G-d that he will watch over her..

Well that is what is going on with us as of now....

Hurry up Spring !!!!!!

Things for the most part have been good for us this winter..Only two cases of sickness have hit our house which is a blessing. I am on the other hand so ready for spring and so done with these very cold Ohio winters.. There isn't much for the kids to do to run off steam and I don't do the cold so going to a park is out of the question.. So the weekends have been trying to say the least we have enjoy the swimming pool a the YMCA a few times which has helped.

Pretty much the whole month of December for me was spent with my mom.. She had to have a very major surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.. She had total of three aneurysm one ascending , one decending, and one abdominal. On the 23 of December a team of thorasic surgeons went it and and did a tripleby pass and a procedure called an Elephant truck. Meaning they replaced the top part of her aortia , the part that looks like an elephant truck, and that repaired her ascending aneurysm. Part two will repair her decending and her abdominal aneurysm . They will have to replace her whole aortia from her heart to her groin in order to do that surgery...

Now back to my orginal begining I am so ready for spring ... Brandon and I have talked about moving to warm weather within the next few years and I am really hoping that we do. I am going to say so long for know and will try to update in a few days ...

Okay time to get this Blog going !!!!

So my wonderful husband set this blog up back in September, but I failed to do anything with it...So here it goes I am going to blog about what all my family has been up to since school started. It does seem weird to have two kiddo's in school all day now and one in preschool..Although the "free" time I though I would have has yet to come. LOL...

To be honest not a whole lot has happened since school started !!!! Either that or my memory of fun events has gone past me..I know there were a few festivals and Holiday that were celebrated and I will try to find some pics and post ..Have a great day !!!!
